Abstract
The article presents the religious devotional practice and ceremonies of visitation (siyāḥa) undertaken by the inhabitants of the oasis of Sīwa (Eastern Egypt) to the nearby Ǧabal ad-Dakrūr for a three-day remembrance (ḏikr) of God.
