L’élaboration de l’élixir selon Ps.-Siǧistānī : Alchimie et cosmogonie dans l’ismaélisme ṭayyibite

The article presents a short and apparently rare Ismāʿīlī manuscript kept in the Tübingen University Library and entitled Kitāb al-Ġarīb fī maʿnā l-iksīr. Its authorship is attributed to Abū Yaʿqūb as-Siǧistānī, the famous Ismāʿīlī dāʿī of the Fāṭimid period, although his authorship seems unlikely. The article will demonstrate that this short treatise belongs to the texts generally passed on with reference to Ǧābir ibn Ḥayyān.
