The article discusses the concepts of paradise and hell, and, on a more general plane, the concepts of reward and punishment in Muslim philosophy, especially in that of Ibn Sina. To attain this goal, the author examines the question of whether it was possible to integrate the religious idea of reward and punishment into the system of philosophy, and if so, how reward and punishment were understood and explained from the point of view of philosophy.
